Man in the Soul Field
Movie narrative: The occurrence is all. All is occurring, always. In the cosmic field, immediately after the big bang, the occurrence appears as two types of elements, in a vast cloud of matter and energy. In the biological field, as a primordial genetic molecule. In the soul field, as rudimentary sensations. What starts an occurrence field going? This, we do not know. But once it comes into being, it goes to work. And it uses a pattern that is both simple and amazing. A pattern that combines things, makes new things out of them and separates them again. From few to many; from simple to complex. It is a pattern of enrichment, and it is in the form of a pulse/ An enrichment pulse. In the cosmic field, enrichment occurs in an entity called a star. Through gravity, heat, pressure and radiation, elements converge to form a star, new elements are forged in its core, and when it explodes back into space, the next generation of stars will have a richer variety of elements to work with. In the biological field, which is built from the elements formed in the cosmic pulse, enrichment occurs in an entity called a cell nucleus. By binding genetic molecules together, exchanging sequences between them, new sequences are created, and the next generation of cell nuclei, will have a richer variety of sequences to work with. In the soul field, enrichment takes place in an entity called a human being. Through his nervous system, with its cognitive, emotional and sensory faculties, or in other words with his thoughts, emotions and sensations, man takes in soul qualities from the soul field, blends them with those currently stirring in him, and releases a new blend back to the soul field. New blends of soul qualities are created, and the entities of the field will have a richer variety of qualities to work with. For the soul is a field. A field of qualities that include value, security, love, wonder, logic and more, and all blends between them. In the beginning, there were basic sensations, then basic emotions such as safeness, tension, happiness, further on-glimmers of comprehension. Gestures, then language, to share thoughts, emotions and sensations- soul qualities. A cup of tea with a cookie and a smile. Qualities of warmth, affection, appreciation, blending and then flowing back to the field, as gratitude, generosity. A famous scientist sticks out his tongue. A unique quality of clowny genius, serious folly, self-humor. An icon is born, an image, a soul quality. Available to the field. A recurrent cycle of intake, blending and release. A pulse. An enrichment pulse. And with every pulse, a new blend of qualities flows to the soul field. From the field's perspective, its richness depends on the quality of man's pulse. From man's perspective, his richness depends on the richness of the field. A deal between two, that are in fact - one. Man enriches the field, and the field, in turn, enriches man. And man achieves two yearned for states, that appear to be contradictory, but are in fact entwined: individuality (uniqueness of the blend of qualities present in him in every given moment) and belonging (through the flowing connection with the soul field). Unity of man and field, richness of man, richness of field. However, man can, as he often does, illude himself that he is separate from his surroundings, that his soul resides inside himself, and that the soul qualities stirring in him, are solely of his own making. Blindness to the field. Weak intake, weak blending, poor pulse. Separation of man and field, poverty of man, poverty of field. So, in this vein, A star, is an enrichment entity in the cosmic field. A cell's nucleus, is an enrichment entity is the biological field. And man. What is man? Man is an enrichment entity in the soul field. This is a worldview, in which center stage is given to an ongoing occurrence, not to any object, however extended. A worldview of unity, unity of occurrence, in which there is no real division or separation. Field converging into entity, entity unfolding into field, field born from field. From few to many; from simple to complex. In the cosmic field, in the biological field, in the soul field- the occurrence with its enrichment pulse- unfolds and creates. Man in the Soul Field / Raly Rabinowitz 1.Soul The term soul encompasses a blend of qualities, among them: value, security, love, wonder, creativity, truth, beauty, exhilaration, inspiration, reason and more. Man needs to experience these qualities in order to live a good life. From man's perspective, these are his soul needs. This appears to be self-evident. A life with a sense of value, security, love, creativity and so on, is a good life to live. Why is it then that we have a tendency to block the flow of soul qualities into ourselves and others? A tendency to criticize soul needs, to suppress and oppress them? Why is it that an expression of a need for security will often be criticized as fearfulness, of a need for love as dependency, for creativity as impracticality, for freedom as laziness? I suggest that the reason for this is an ingrained and fundamentally wrong worldview. A worldview of division and separateness. According to this view, man is separate from other men. Therefore, his value is "self-value", which is determined by comparison to "other" men. In a world in which value is predominantly "self-value", two major things happen. The first is that "value" overrides other soul qualities in importance, and these become subjected to it. A high "self- value" confers worthiness of love, confidence, security, creativity and so on. A low "self-value" does the opposite. So, other soul qualities become dependent on the perceived level of "self-value". The second is that man, in order to boost "self- value", develops a tendency (of which he is mostly unaware) to de-value the "other". In this continuous struggle, the soul qualities are repeatedly subjected to suppression and oppression. Man will suppress expressing a need for security, so as not to be perceived as fearful, a need for love so as not to be perceived as dependent, a need for creativity so as not to be perceived as impractical. Thus, a worldview of division and separateness, which narrows "value" to "self- value", perpetuates suppression and oppression of soul qualities. The competition for value, as if it were a limited resource, (value is gained at the expense of the "other"), further enhances the experience of division and separateness - a self- sustaining cycle. In the following pages, an alternative worldview is presented, a worldview of a life re-connected to the soul. A life that is intimate with the soul qualities, nurtures them and encourages their flow. This worldview is of a limitless, indivisible and continuous occurrence in which man is a merged entity, and in which he plays a role. A worldview in which man's value is inseparable from the value of the occurrence. In order to define the role of man in this worldview, I will use the terms "soul", "field", "entity" and "enrichment" and tie them together into one sentence: Man is an enrichment entity in the soul field In a nutshell, this is the theory. Reality is a limitless, indivisible and continuous occurrence. The manner in which the occurrence presents itself depends on the field in which it is occurring, the occurrence-field. The occurrence-fields are also limitless, indivisible, and continuous with each other. One of these occurrence-fields is the soul field. The soul field is a field of qualities which undergo enrichment. This enrichment occurs in entities. These entities are called human beings. The essence of being human is to enrich this field of soul qualities. Since man is inseparable from the soul field, in doing so he enriches himself. For the purpose of enrichment man utilizes his nervous system with its cognitive, emotional and sensory faculties. These faculties, especially when working in integration, know how to detect soul qualities, absorb them, allow their fusion with currently occurring qualities and stream them back to the field. And with every pulse of entry, merging and outward flow- a new and unique blend of soul qualities is created, further enriching both the soul field and man, which is inseparable from it. 2.The big questions Man is an inseparably merged partner in an a limitless, indivisible and continuous occurrence. I suggest that by adopting this view, we may find answers to life's central questions: What am I? Who am I? What is the meaning of life, of being human? What should guide my choices? What is the soul? What is death? So, this is an invitation to share in a worldview, a story. It is a story about the occurrence, about its fields and entities, about how it works, about our place in it, and about how, by giving up an illusion, we can gain, everything. 3.The Occurrence The occurrence is limitless, indivisible and continuous. The occurrence is everything. Everything occurs. What is perceived as a local event is in fact the occurrence showing a facet of itself to us, a wisp of vapor arising from a cloud, a whirlpool swirling in a river. Where did the occurrence come from? This, we do not know. It seems that "one day", it just appeared. And how does the occurrence present itself to us? It depends. It depends on the field in which the occurrence occurs. The occurrence-field. In the cosmic occurrence field, the occurrence appeared a moment after the big bang as two types of elements repeating themselves countlessly in a vast cloud of energy and matter. In the biological field, it appeared as a genetic molecule replicating itself countless times in a primordial sea. In the soul field, it appeared as rudimentary types of sensations. So, about the origins of the occurrence, about what happened a moment before the big bang, before the first genetic molecule, before the first sensation - we do not know. But if we follow the occurrence from these moments onward, we can identify a pattern of action. A pattern of action that repeats itself. A simple pattern of action … with very impressive results. On the occurrence's pattern of action, on how it works... in the next chapter. 4.The occurrence's pattern of action - the Enrichment Pulse The origins of the occurrence remain as yet unknown. But from the moment the first products appear in an occurrence field, whether they are the first atoms in the cosmic field, the first genetic material in the biological field or the first rudimentary sensations in the soul field, a pattern is identifiable, a repeating pattern of action with two motives. a.Enrichment ("From few to many; from simple to complex"). In the occurrence and its fields an enrichment process is at work, in which a small number of types grow into a large number, and with the increase in the number of types, the number of combinations between them also increases. This happens through: b.Pulsations of convergence and divergence within enrichment entities. ("Things" come together in an entity, react with each other, new things are formed and then things, old and new, separate again) In the cosmic occurrence field, the pulsations of convergence, divergence and enrichment occur in enrichment entities called stars. In the biological they occur in enrichment entities called cell nuclei. In the soul field they occur in enrichment entities called human beings. On how the occurrence's pattern of action, the enrichment pulse, works in the cosmic and biological fields, and on the understanding that these fields are in fact united- in the next chapter. 5.The cosmic and biological occurrence fields The cosmic occurrence field After the big bang a vast cloud of gas was formed in which there existed two types of elements: Hydrogen and Helium. Areas in this cloud were pulled together by gravity to form stars (convergence). The increasing heat and pressure in the core of stars lead to nuclear fusion and to formation of new elements (enrichment). When the outward pressure in stars exceeded the inward pull of gravity, the stars exploded outward (divergence). Through these pulsations of convergence and divergence, the cosmos was enriched in elements and as of today there are 120 known ones. So, it can be said that, in the cosmic occurrence field, pulsations of convergence and divergence in enrichment entities called stars, enrich the variety of elements in the cosmos. Among the elements created in the course of these pulsations were Nitrogen, Carbon, Oxygen and Phosphorus. Along with Hydrogen, that was there from the "beginning", these are the atoms that build life as we know it. Thus, from the cosmic occurrence field emerged the biological occurrence field. The biological occurrence field Based on what we know today, the first known life form on earth, approximately 3.5 billion years ago, was a single cell organism. A giant soup of these cells persisted without change for some 2 billion years. A quick glance around us, and it is clear that enrichment has occurred. Pulsations of convergence, enrichment and divergence of genetic material have led to an astonishing variety of life forms. An example of such an enrichment pulse: Within the nucleus of a sex cell (e.g. egg cell; sperm cells), chromosomes (genetic sequences) from the mother and father make copies of themselves, a process in which mutations (changes) occur. These copies then connect with each other (convergence) and randomly exchange segments in a process called recombination, and then separate again (divergence). In this process, chromosomes with new genetic sequences are created (enrichment) and these in turn encode for organisms, that are different in their set of characteristics than any others that existed before. So, it can be said that, in the biological occurrence field, pulsations of convergence and divergence of genetic material in enrichment entities called cell-nuclei enrich the variety of life. The enrichment entities and the occurrence field are one It is important to understand that enrichment entities and their fields are one. The enrichment entity is just the convergence phase of the occurrence field, like the contraction phase of the pulsating heart. The use of the term "entity" serves only to focus our attention on this phase of convergence (or fusion, or recombination, or blending or whatever word best describes the quality of convergence in the field discussed). Let's focus for a moment on the enrichment entity "star" in the cosmic occurrence field. Because of its long lifespan (compared to our own), a star appears to us as a stable body, separate from its surroundings. But, if we were to greatly "accelerate the movie" of the star's life, from beginning to end, what we would see is an enormous cloud of matter (elements) crowding together and then scattering back out into the cloud. In other words, we will see a pulsating occurrence field. In the biological occurrence field, we can picture a field of genetic molecules, converging into cell nuclei, swapping parts between themselves and diverging back out to the field. The occurrence fields are also one With the knowledge obtained so far, the continuity of the cosmic and biological occurrence fields is apparent. For example, it can be said that the origins of a tree lie, in part, in carbon atoms which were forged in a star. When the planet on which the tree has lived dies, its carbon atoms return to space and will perhaps converge one day in a star. In other words, a star is continuous with a tree, which is continuous with a star. A "startree" or a "treestar. So, in fact, the cosmic and biological occurrence fields are one: The Cosmo-biological field, or the Bio-cosmic field. On the next occurrence field, on its entities, and how it relates to the meaning of life- in the next chapter 6.The soul field The soul. Other common terms are spirit, consciousness, psyche. I have chosen the term "soul", perhaps because to me, spirit sounds to ethereal, consciousness too cognitive and psyche too psychological. However, what matters is the definition of "soul" as the term is used here. The term soul, as used here, refers to: A collection of qualities that are processed by man's cognitive, emotional and sensory faculties. These qualities include value, security, love, wonder, creativity, truth, beauty, exhilaration, inspiration, reason and more, and all combinations between them. How did the first soul qualities come into being? This, we do not know. As we do not know the origins of the first cosmic elements or of the first molecule that was able to replicate itself. What we do know, however, is that with time, the soul qualities have undergone enrichment. Basic sensory qualities leading to attraction and aversion were followed in time by basic emotional qualities of such as tranquility and fear. Further down the road came cognitive qualities like the understanding of cause and effect. Sensations of warmth and nourishment became coupled with emotions of tenderness and love. Communication developed, first by rudimentary gestures and then by continuously evolving language, language that enabled the sharing and further enrichment of soul qualities. Value, wonder, exploration, creativity. Art carved on a rock; art hung on a museum wall. A rhythm on a stretched animal hide, a piece of music in a concert hall. Abstract thoughts on the nature of reality, the meaning of life. From few to many; from simple to complex. A rich field of soul qualities. How did this enrichment occur? The suggestion here, is that soul qualities, from the moment of their creation, are not limited to any being, man included, but rather enrich a field, of which man is an integral part. And that the same pattern of action, that is at work in the cosmic and biological fields, the enrichment pulse, is also at work in the soul field. That man, using his cognitive, emotional and sensory faculties, detects and takes in qualities from the soul field (convergence), merges them with qualities currently occurring in him and releases them back to the field (divergence). And the blend released into the field is always new and never identical to any previous blend (enrichment). Thus, according to this proposition, the answer to the first big question: "What is man?" is: Man is an enrichment entity in the soul field A bit more about enrichment entities and how they work- in the next chapter. 7.Enrichment entities-examples and mechanisms For further illustration, here are two examples of enrichment entities and how they work. The first example is from nature, the second, man-made. Tide pool Tide pools are shallow pools near the seashore. At high tide, the pools fill with an ever-changing mixture of sea water, organisms, organic compounds and minerals. This mixture blends with the mixture already present in the pool. At low tide, some of the water in the pool flows back to sea, carrying a different mixture (a blend of what came in with what was already in) from that the tide brought in. With every pulse of high tide (convergence) and low tide (divergence) a new and unique blend flows out to sea (enrichment). So, it can be said that tidepools are enrichment entities in the seashore occurrence-field. Let's imagine for a moment that the tide pool "thinks" that it is a separate independent entity (perhaps it is a bit far from the shoreline and does not even know that the sea exists). To us, as spectators, it is obvious that this is an illusion. On the day seawater will cease to flow into the pool (perhaps due to construction of a new wave-breaker or an elevated promenade, or a drop in sea level), the tide pool will dry up and lose its significance as an enrichment entity in the seashore occurrence-field. Central railway station Let's imagine an occurrence-field of passengers. Passengers from the field enter a central railway station (convergence), mix inside it and exit it (divergence). At every given moment, the mixture of people leaving the station is different than the previous moment and is also different from any mixture flowing out of any other railway station in the world. So, it can be said that railway stations are enrichment entities in the passenger occurrence-field. On the day the flow of passengers into the station will cease (perhaps due to a strike, a pandemic, construction of a new station), the station will lose its significance as an enrichment entity in the passenger occurrence-field. Mechanisms used by enrichment entities Enrichment entities have mechanisms that enable convergence, divergence and enrichment of their occurrence fields. The enrichment entity railway station, that operates in the passenger occurrence field, has mechanisms for admitting, processing and releasing passengers. These include communication and monitoring systems, terminals, conveyers, information services, pay booths etc. When these mechanisms work together well, when they are integrated, the convergence and divergence pulse of passengers entering and leaving the station is fuller. The enrichment entity man, that operates in the soul field, has mechanisms for admitting, processing and releasing soul qualities. These include the sensory, emotional and cognitive faculties of his nervous system. When these faculties work together well, when they are integrated, the enrichment pulse of soul qualities entering man, mixing and in him and being released from him back to the soul field is fuller. Man is an enrichment entity in the soul field. If you feel resistance to this theory - reasons for this can be found in the next chapter. 8.I feel resistance toward this theory It is not easy to accept the theory proposed here. Here are a few barriers that may explain why. If I am a part of something, I am not unique. The prevailing perception is that the uniqueness of man stems from his separateness form other men and from other species. Man is unique by comparison. This perception makes it difficult to accept a theory that, on its surface, perceives man as an entity that serves something bigger than himself, a cog in a machine. Because of the ingrained worldview of separateness, it is difficult to accept that man can be both an entity in a process and also the process itself. However, in a worldview in which everything is a limitless, indivisible and continuous occurrence - enrichment entities are not separate from, or encapsulated within, their occurrence fields. As stated before- the enrichment entities and the occurrence fields are one. The enrichment entity is just the convergence phase of the occurrence field. The enrichment entity is the occurrence field, the occurrence field is the entity. Thus, relinquishing a world view of separateness does not mean giving up uniqueness. On the contrary, it allows for an ever-evolving uniqueness, a uniqueness that enriches the field of soul, that is enriched by the field soul, a field in which man is merged inseparably. The soul occurrence-field is an invention of your own. Not at all. Soul occurrence-fields exist from the dawn of man, in all cultures, under various names. The arts and sciences are soul occurrence-fields, in which soul qualities are expressed by drawing, painting, sculpture, music, literature, philosophy, formulae etc. Physically, these fields are manifested in galleries, museums, concert halls, media and so on. But actually, they are a soul field. A creation, a metaphor, an idea, live in the soul before and after their physical manifestation. Carl Jung's collective unconscious is a soul occurrence-field in which soul qualities are expressed by myths and archetypes. Physically, this field manifests as symbols, drawings, stories and more. But actually, it is a soul field. A symbol, a drawing, a story, live in the soul before and after their physical manifestation on a cave wall, in a folk tale or in the cinema. The phenomenon of emojis is a soul occurrence-field in which soul qualities such as happiness, sadness, surprise, and so on, are expressed by images. Physically, this field is found in the digital media. But actually, it is a soul field. Happiness, sadness, surprise, and so on -live in the soul before and after their physical manifestation on a digital screen. The theory is counter-intuitive The idea that man is an entity that is merged in a field is counter-intuitive, since it clashes with information received by our senses. Our senses convey to us that we are separate. We see and feel the boundaries of our body, do we not? Can it be that our senses are misleading me? We have learned that this is indeed possible. The earth is flat, and it ends at the horizon. Down towards this horizon, the sun descends every evening. Our senses do not tell us that the earth is a ball that rotates around its axis once a day and that it is the horizon that "rises up" to meet the sun. Nevertheless, this is now the accepted worldview, the accepted paradigm. Man is an enrichment entity in the soul field. How is this a new paradigm and what are the implications? 9.Man is an enrichment entity in the soul field. How is this a new paradigm and what are the implications? The perception of man as an enrichment entity in a field of soul qualities, involves several paradigm shifts. The first paradigm shift has to do with the "location" of the soul. The shift is from perception of the soul as limited to a the "inside" of the human being, to a perception of the soul as a field of soul qualities in which man is an enrichment entity. This is a shift from an anthropocentric perception of the soul to an occurrence-field perception. The 'center stage" is given not to an object, no matter how vast (man, all living things, all the stars and the planets in the universe), but to a process (occurrence), that man is an integral part of. The second shift has to do with the purpose of human life. The shift is from definitions based on separation and comparison (to be richer or wiser or stronger or more sensitive or more flexible, or more modest than the "other") to a definition based on cultivation. The purpose of man's life is to cultivate his cognitive, emotional and sensory faculties in an integrative manner, in order to refine his convergence and divergence pulse in the soul field, thereby enriching the field and himself, as he is an integral part of it. The third shift has to do with the perception of man's uniqueness. The shift is from a perception of uniqueness as dependent on comparison between human beings (or between human beings and other creatures), to a perception of uniqueness as self-evident, because it stems from the unique blend of soul qualities in every human being, in every given moment. Indeed, every human is unique, in each and every given moment. And in the same breath, every human is also a part of a never-ending, limitless occurrence. And so, by giving up the illusion of separateness and adopting a perception of man as a unique and ever-changing enrichment entity in the field of soul qualities, we "get to be" both unique and part of everything. Okay. So how does this help us in life? Several examples- in the next chapter. 10.Living as an enrichment entity If I choose to adopt this view, namely that I am an enrichment entity in the occurrence-field of soul qualities, that this is my essence in life, my role, how can this affect the way I live? I will try to show this in three areas; couple-relationship, occupation and raising children. In each example I will first try to describe the prevailing attitude arising from a worldview of separateness and division, and then suggest an alternative attitude that arises from the perspective presented here. Couple-relationship Worldview of separateness and division People are separate from one another. Each person has a unique set of relatively fixed characteristics. A successful couple-relationship stems from a good match between these two sets of characteristics. The outcome of this is a recurrent process of testing and rejection in the hope of achieving a match between to people. The current rate of divorce in western society is between 30-50% and many couples that remain together are unsatisfied. Man as an enrichment entity in the soul field People are enrichment entities in the field of soul qualities. A person does not have a set of fixed characteristics. A person has a blend of soul qualities that are a result of the interaction between his faculties and the soul field. This blend, by its nature, is ever changing and constantly open to change. Man's faculties (cognitive, emotional, sensory) can be cultivated, and the soul field qualities can be accessed. A couple-relationship is a coming together of two enrichment entities, with an intent to pulsate together in the soul field. The synchronizing of their pulsations, the streaming of soul qualities between them and between them and the surrounding soul field, enhances the enrichment of the field, which they are an integral part of. The "match" between a people, comes from their understanding of their essence as enrichment entities and from their willingness to learn to pulsate together. Occupation Worldview of separateness and division A person has a set of relatively fixed characteristics and to this set of characteristics an occupation has to be matched. Furthermore, because in a worldview of separateness and division the soul quality "value" is often narrowed into "self- value", the choice of occupation is often influenced by the value that society confers on certain occupations. Doctor, lawyer, engineer … the list is familiar. The outcome of this attitude toward choosing an occupation is that the percentage of people in the western world, that are satisfied with their job is around fifty percent. Studies show that only one in five Americans feel passionate about their occupation, that 27 % of British workers think that they would be happier in a different job, that only a third of software developers like what they're doing and that eighty one percent of workers in the legal profession think their work is boring. Man as an enrichment entity in the soul field People are enrichment entities in the field of soul qualities. A person does not have a set of fixed characteristics. A person has a complex nervous system with cognitive, emotional and sensory faculties. These faculties are continuously shaped by the interactions with the environment (the field of soul qualities). With these faculties, man can identify soul qualities, incorporate them, blend them with soul qualities currently flowing in him, and release them back into the field. An occupation is a set of qualities that are lifted up from the soul field. Certain occupations involve soul qualities that are mainly (but not only) accessed by the faculty of cognition (engineering for example), others by emotion (poetry), others by sensation (dance). Choosing an occupation begins with an attempt to match an occupation with the person's currently dominant faculties. However, from this point and onwards, if attention is given to the broader scope of soul qualities that the occupation encompasses, other less dominant faculties can be cultivated. For instance, an engineer may find interest in management, a musician in the technological aspects of music, a dancer in the therapeutic potential of movement. With time, a person's faculties develop, and the balance between them changes. This expands the array of occupations he or she can find satisfying. Satisfaction from an occupation arises from the richness of the blend of soul qualities experienced through the occupation and from the ability to move within an occupation or to change one, as a result of the evolution of one's faculties. Raising children Worldview of separateness and division In a worldview of separateness and division, the child is perceived as an extension of the parent. As such, the parent's worldview is projected onto the child. The child is therefore perceived to have a relatively fixed set of characteristics, and these are often told to the child explicitly. The value of the child is determined by his place on a socio-cultural scale. The outcome is one of recurrent attempts to adjust the child, so as to achieve as high as possible position on this scale. Man as an enrichment entity in the soul field The child, like any human being, is as an enrichment entity in the soul field. The child does not belong to the parent and is not his or her extension. The child comes to the world through his parents, and he does so with cognitive, emotional and sensory faculties which, in the beginning, are mostly genetically determined. The soul qualities presented to the child will influence the development of these faculties and the blend of soul qualities flowing through the child. The value of the child, like the value of any human being, is determined by the abundance of the soul field that he enriches and that he is enriched by. Thus, a parent's role is to respect and cultivate the child's faculties of thought, emotion and sensation, and facilitate his access to the qualities of the soul field. And because the child's faculties are energetic, it is often enough not to disrupt, not to block soul qualities that are deemed "not beneficial" for advancing the child on the socio-cultural scale. 11.Impoverishment and abundance A worldview of separateness and division leads to impoverishment According to this worldview people are separated from each other and soul qualities are perceived as limited resources that people compete for in order to appropriate for "themselves". Value is appropriated to "self- value", confidence to "self-confidence", love to "my love", creativity to "my creativity", and so on. And in order for ""self- value" to be large it must be larger than the value of the "other", as is true for "self-confidence", for "my love", "my creativity" etc. To achieve this man develops a tendency, of which he is mostly unaware, to diminish the flow of soul qualities into the "other". The result is a suppression of the flow of soul qualities into entities, a weakening of their enrichment pulse and consequently an impoverishment of the soul field. And this cycle of suppression and impoverishment escalates. Because a person who experiences a disruption in the flow of soul qualities, is a person whose soul needs aren’t met, an entity whose basic essence is denied. In this situation the person will take steps to renew the flow of soul qualities. But since he himself is a captive of a worldview of separateness and division, his strategy for renewing the flow is to suppress the it into the "other". Thus, in a worldview in which people are perceived as separate entities, and in which soul qualities are perceived as a limited resource, a cycle of suppression and counter-suppression of soul qualities is perpetuated. The soul field becomes impoverished. A worldview in which man as an enrichment entity in the soul field, leads to abundance. According to this worldview people are enrichment entities in a soul field. Soul qualities flow from the field into entities, blend with qualities currently present in them and flow back to the field, a recurrent pulse of enrichment. The soul qualities do not belong to any entity and cannot be appropriated. Rather, they make up a field which is enriched by the entities and in turn the field enriches them. The soul qualities are an unlimited resource, and their nature is to grow richer and be available to all entities of the soul field. In this worldview, people know that the levels of soul qualities that they experience (value, confidence, security, love, creativity), are a reflection of the levels of these qualities in the soul field. They understand that the more they live their essence as enrichment entities, the richer the field will be and as they are integral part of it, the richer their life will be. And so, in a world in which people live their life as enrichment entities in the field of soul qualities, the soul field is a field of abundance. We began with the big questions. It's time to go back to them and see what answers this worldview provides. 12.Back to the big questions Who am I? This can be answered only after answering the question: What is a human being? What is a human being? A human being is an enrichment entity in the soul field. Who am I? I am the blend of soul qualities that reside in me in every given moment, and this blend is a result of the interaction between my faculties (cognitive, emotional and sensory) and the soul qualities of the soul-field. What is the soul? Where does it reside? The soul is a collection of qualities that make up a field. In this field operate enrichment entities that are called human beings. Does my life have a purpose? What shall guide my choices? My path? If I accept that I am an enrichment entity in the soul field. If I accept that this is my essence, my nature, than the purpose of my life is to cultivate my faculties (cognitive, emotional and sensory) in an integrative manner, in order to identify soul qualities in the soul-field, incorporate and blend them with qualities currently present in me, and then release a new blend back to the field. In other words to live a full as possible a pulse of convergence, divergence and enrichment. When I face a choice in life, I can ask: does this choice serve my essence as an enrichment entity? Will it contribute to the enrichment pulse? To the enriching of the field that I am an integral part of ? What is death? Is there an afterlife? Death is the disintegration of the biological enrichment entity called man, with his cognitive, emotional and sensory faculties. The soul does not die with man, because it was never limited to man. Man passes, but the soul qualities that were enriched through him continue to live in the soul field and in its living entities. What is bliss? Bliss is a state, caused by a free flow of soul qualities into man, their blending with current qualities in him and the release of a new blend of soul qualities back to the soul field. In other words, bliss is experienced when the enrichment entity "man" pulsates fully and robustly. What is suffering? Suffering is a state, caused by blockage of flow of soul qualities into man, a diminished blending with qualities present in him and a weak release back to the soul field. In other words, suffering is experienced when the enrichment entity "man" pulsates partially and weakly. What is fear? Fear is an emotion that arises from the thought, that the flow of soul qualities will be blocked, that soul needs will not be met. What is empathy? Empathy is the ability to identify a blocked soul quality and to renew its flow. In other words, empathy is the ability to identify a soul-need and to convert it into a beneficial response. 13.The occurrence- what's next? The occurrence with its fields and entities- where is it heading? What's next? The answer is that we don’t know. We don't know the beginning, the reason or the destination. Perhaps we never shall. Perhaps the questions themselves are wrong. But still, it is interesting to look at the occurrence from an evolutionary perspective- the cosmic field evolving into the biological field, the biological field evolving into the soul field. What's next? It seems that nothing in the cosmic field predicted the biological field, and nothing in the biological field predicted the soul field. As the saying goes: when looking at a larva it's quite impossible to see the butterfly. But, inside this unpredictability, there is a pattern that repeats itself. "From few to many; from simple to complex." Through a pulse of convergence, divergence and enrichment. This is not the only pattern. When looking at the occurrence from an evolutionary perspective, we can identify another pattern, a pattern that does not predict 'what' will happen, but rather 'when'. And the answer to 'when' is: relatively fast. For this is a pattern of acceleration. In each evolving field of the occurrence, the cosmic field, the biological field, the soul field, the pace of enrichment accelerates. In addition, each stage is faster than the one before it. The cosmic occurrence-field lasted around 11 billion years until the first known living organism appeared. During this time the variety of elements grew nonlinearly since with every new element the number of combinations between them increased. The biological occurrence-field is about 3.5 billion years old, from the appearance of the first unicellular organism to the present day. During this time, the variety of genomic sequences has risen at a faster and faster pace, due to the fact that with every new sequence the number of combinations between sequences also increases, and consequently so does the variety of life morphologies. The soul occurrence-field, if traced back to the beginning of the evolutionary branch that eventually led to man, is 20 million years old. During this time, the enrichment of thoughts, emotions and sensations has accelerated, because with every new convergence of these, the number of blends between them increases, and with this variety in soul qualities. Is this an evolutionary process? If so, what is the next phase? What will the next occurrence field be? Perhaps it is already here, and we have not identified it as such?
